My Apocalypse

So we cross that line
Into the crypt
Total eclipse
Suffer unto my apocalypse!

Tyrants awaken my apocalypse!
Demon awaken my apocalypse!
Heaven awaken my apocalypse!
Suffer forever my apocalypse!

This is seriously the longest I've spent on a digital painting so far, about 6 hours across 2 days!!

I decided to go the traditional 'fire and brimstone' sort of apocalypse for this, but rather than do my usual 'silhouette, funky sky, dodgy colour' style, I decided to try a matte painting.

I think it's pretty successful, I learnt alot of things doing this, which is a major benefit, and I had alot of fun making things look like they're getting pulverised by some angry god

Rather than 'set' this after the apocalypse has been raging for a while, I decided to set it just as it starts, with hell raining down apon the earth.
