BIG UPDATE After some feedback I worked on some of the elements, and then went a lot further than I intended to. I've added the wreckage of a city in the background to try and give more depth, both to the image and the story, hopefully that comes across right!

I didn't have a story for this before I started, I'd originally wanted to do a huge collage of stuff that I wanted out of life... but I thought that was too literal.

here's to dreams.
For years he travelled the tortured shell of the world he once knew. Walking, for what seemed like forever, he searched for life, for a place not scorched by the nuclear war of his forefathers.
But he soon lost his focus, and out of sheer exhaustion, collapsed atop a hill. There he laid for days, dreaming of the world before the war. He dreamed of the things his parents taught him, of love, life, green fields and music. He dreamed of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, of coming to a place not ravaged by war.
Tools: Adobe Photoshop CS4 Time: 2 hours... give or take.
Its a very epic pic... i'd like to see it with the character doing something, like reaching into the sky or something, i think that'd bring a little more to the picture.
Also whats that grainy texture overlay youve got going on, kinda makes it look like were looking through a dirty window at this guy.
You made it even more epic than before! Even if it has any craps, i can't see them!
